Taylor Swift Performs Pre-Super Bowl Show: Her Only Show of 2017?!

Taylor Swift will only play one show in 2017 and fans at Houston's Club Nomadic were there to witness it last night (February 4). Tay reportedly told the crowd, "I have to be really honest with you about something: As far as I know, I'm doing one show in 2017".

The "Blank Space" crooner also debuted "Better Man" - the song she wrote for country group Little Big Town - at the 62,500-square-foot venue, which was assembled for a lineup of Super Bowl concerts and parties and will be taken down after Sunday's big game.

Now, Taylor obviously left the possibility open that she'll do more shows this year, but since she decided not to release an album last fall, she doesn't have a reason to embark on a big tour any time soon.

Swift's Super Bowl weekend performance comes on the heels of her signing a multi-year partnership with AT&T. I want to thank all of you for wanting to come to this party tonight. It is now unreleased as to why this may be Swift's only performance of 2017. Illuminated by a spotlight, all eyes were on Taylor, as they should be!

But she asked the audience to sing along, as she stripped the song to acoustic form, strumming her guitar.

Swift performed the track - which features Rihanna - once again on Saturday.

While rumours have been swirling that Swift is planning to drop a surprise album later this year, 2017 might actually see her taking a break.
