Aaron Carter Attacked During Concert! 'Racist' Remark Angered Fellow Musician?

The 29-year-old was bloodied up during a show in Bradley, Ill. Asking security to remove the individual, (who just so happened to be Mexican), Aaron reportedly said, "Bye, Felipe" as the man was being escorted out.

A fracas has broken out during a performance by late '90s teenybopper icon Aaron "I Want Candy" Carter, reportedly after the faded star insulted a musician from the opening act. One of the members of his opener, ILL State, began going into the crowd and grabbing people's mobile phones to record Carter while he performed. The man rushed back into the venue and attacked Carter and damaged his equipment, too. Aaron was taken to the hospital and police are said to be investigating the case. Carter was sent to the emergency room, and cops are now investigating the incident.

In a string of tweets following the alleged incident, Carter denied that he got "beat up" and insisted he is not a racist.

"Chillen w my boys before I finally get to bed. hospitals suck".
