The first cast members revealed were Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, and Keegan-Michael Key.

"I think that they came to me knowing pretty much that. they said, basically, if I wanted to make Predator but treat it like it was Iron Man 3 instead of just another little movie". Shooting has started in Vancouver.

Black captioned the image "Partial cast. lovely human beings, good people".

On top of being known for his work on Thrones, Allen also memorably played a Russian gangster who kills the wrong dog in 2014's John Wick.

"Game of Thrones" star Alfie Allen is joining Fox's "The Predator", a reboot of the alien action franchise that launched in 1987.

Allen is set to play an ex-Marine who teams up with several other outsiders to try and stop the human-hunting monsters. I welcome any surprises or subversions that Black wants to throw our way.

Black is not only directing the movie; he also co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker.

Fox has already scheduled "The Predator" for a February 9, 2018, opening. In the original sci-fi film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Black had a supporting role.

More updates should arrive soon.
